How is the surgery performed?

The cheekbone and jaw bone are accessed while identifying and preserving important nerves such as the infraorbital and mental nerves. Through those openings, Dr Keojampa will reshape the jaw using advance V line jaw reduction techniques such as a T osteotomy for chin narrowing and resection of the mandibular angle. The goal is to contour the jaw to a more feminine and soft appearance. We use the most advanced technology to cut and contour the bone with an Ultrasonic Scalpel for Bone Contouring the Sonopet to perform osteotomies with the highest precision and safety. The Sonopet is the most advanced Ultrasonic scalpel used by craniofacial and neurosurgeons as it selectively targets bone without injuring the surrounding nerves and soft tissue.
